Water damage: Sump pump

A sump pump can cause MAJOR damage in a basement when it backs up! Your Sump Pump should be checked regularly to ensure there is nothing blocking the drainage. 

In this situation the ENTIRE basement flooded and flooring (Carpet, laminate, tile and wood base), walls and furniture.  

SERVPRO arrived on scene and began extraction of standing water. Once all of the water was extracted we then began to remove the affected flooring and the drying process was started. 

Over the next few days SERVPRO monitored the drying process as it is vital to the success and satisfaction of our customers. Proper drying reduces the possibility of mold growth in the future.
