Storm Damage

When a storm hits it can cause all sorts of damage within a home or business. We urge people to pay attention to how your drainage system is structured as well as your door ways and low lying entrances. In this situation we had a client whose storm drain backed up and water began flooding the home. The water traveled into the foyer, the bedrooms and on down the hall. SERVPRO responded immediately to assess the situations, extract the water and begin the drying process. Unfortunately in situations like this SERVPRO can not begin working until the problem is fixed and we can rest assured we will not have flooding while the equipment is in use. Due to the carpet it was very important to make sure that the flooring under the carpet was dry as well.
